Annie of the Stars is coming to the PC version of the game. This left many wondering about the status of Skullgirls. This ultimately resulted in both Hidden Variable and Autumn Games severing ties with the Lab Zero Games. It wasn’t too long ago that disaster struck Lab Zero Games, which resulted in the entire either departing or being removed from the company due to a toxic work environment. Likely this will be done via a voting system. They aren’t listed because the developer wants to involve whoever purchases the season and allows them to influence the release order. And while the new characters are listed as “TBA”, they have already been chosen.

Hidden Variable and Autumn Games have stated that season pass characters will also include new stage/music, palettes, and a full story mode. Annie and the other DLC/season pass characters can also be acquired for $9.99 each. The season pass is priced at $29.99 as a promo but will eventually move up to $34.99. Then there’s the season pass slated for a March 2021 release date on PC (Steam) and will include four new characters (Annie included), an exclusive palette pack, a digital soundtrack, and a digital art compendium.
